It all started with McDonald's.  Cheryl Graham and Janice Cavanaugh-Teti began their insurance careers working for a National Broker managing McDonald's insurance.

25 years ago they opened their own agency and continued to handle McDonald's insurance.  They developed the original Employment Practices Liability Insurance Program for McDonald's franchises; Created a national umbrella program and a McDonald's delivery program.

They have worked with 2 generations of operators and have been recognized by McDonald's as McVeterans.  AFSA is a national agency licensed in all 50 states.  They are a full service insurance agency offering all lines of Commercial, Personal, Life and Health.

AFSA is known by operators to fight hard for competitive rates.  They push for swift and fair claims handling.

Your restaurants are open 24 hours a day.  Your AFSA Broker is accessible 24 hours a day.

Package Policy

Protect your piece of the world with a Commericial Package Policy from AFSA.  This comprehensive policy allows you to tailor your policy to include almost any type of coverage you may need, from equipment breakdown to inland marine to crime coverage.  You'll get maximum flexibility to design a policy specifically for the needs of our organization - and the convenience of having virtually all of your coverage in one package, with one renewal date and just one bill.

Umbrella/ Excess Liability

When the amount of liability coverage provided by your General Liability, Auto Liability, and/or Employers Liability is not enough, Umbrella or Excess Liability coverage will apply.

We only offer the best coverage to our operators with the highest limits available.

Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI)

EPLI is considered one of the most important policies for a franchise owner. In fact you are more likely to have an EPLI claim than a property claim.

EPLI is not just sexual harassment coverage, but complaints of discrimination, wrongful termination and retaliation are included. Third Party and customer complaints of harassment and discrimination and American Disability Act claims are also covered. There’s Coverage for violation of Immigration Reform Control Act. Wage and Hour coverage provides defense for claims of violation of federal or state laws.

Plus all our EPLI policies provide free legal advice as well as HR Support.

Workers’ Compensation

In most states, if you have any employees, you are required to cover them under a Workers' Compensation policy. Workers' Compensation has two coverage areas: 1) medical and disability coverage for on-the-job injuries or work related illness, and 2) coverage for your liability if an employee is injured on the job and alleges that your negligence contributed to the injury or illness (Employer’s Liability). In many states sole proprietors and company principals such as owners, officers and partners can exclude themselves from workers' compensation coverage.
